I've just become interested in vintage bicycles, and I am learning a lot from you all!

This site is dedicated to Nancy and Dustin, who are generously letting me use their garage since I don't have one.

Bike donations accepted, and bike trades considered. If you really want something I have, shoot me an email and we'll talk.

1960-61 JC Higgins Women's Flightliner from Sears

I picked this up at a yard sale and have had a great time cleaning it up and riding it to campus.

The bicycle came with the original owner's packet, and what you see is all original, except for two stickers (Safety Club and 1976 city license) and the tires, which I've switched out to ride around town without destroying the old rubber.

The bicycle was in really excellent shape, with one exception. The original owner had left batteries in the tank, so there is a great deal of corrosion to the battery mount, the inside of the tank, and the undersides of the frame where battery acid ran from the back of the tank down to the bottom tube and over near the chain guard.

I am still interested in getting the light to work, so if anyone has replacement parts for the tank, let me know!

Next project:
1950s Derby (Evans Colson) Sonic Scout

Just completed:
1968 Raleigh Sports 10 speed with dynohub

This bicycle had been used but was still in great shape. I love the gold paint, the retro harlequin decals, and the lights.

I'm not sure if everything's original (seat, fenders, handlebars), but I take responsibility for the white tape.

Future projects:
