Vintage velodrome Yale bike with wooden rims
« on: March 20, 2015, 12:14:08 pm »
Hi,  We are trying to sell a vintage Yale bicycle made by Kirk Manufacturing in Toledo, Ohio from the 1900's.  The rims are wooden at around 25" and the leather seat is marked "Parsons".  Does anyone have a suggestion of where to try to sell and how much we should ask?  We are in Vermont....Thank you!

You will find info in our archives about that bicycle.
Click on the "Menotomy Vintage Bicycles" banner above and you'll be on our main site, OldRoads.com.  Then use the google search box and enter the cycle's name.

Also check our Price Guides.

Hi Brittney

Some sharp detail pictures would help.

Persons saddle (not "parsons"). The bike is probably not a racer, but there is a market for antique bikes like yours. Check listings on Ebay and auctions such as Copake to get an idea for how much it might be worth and what means you might use to sell it.
