Any ideas on this old Pierce?
« on: March 24, 2015, 09:24:59 pm »
A friend of mine is trying to date an old Pierce that has been in the family forever. I'm pretty sure the handlebars are not period, but most everything else looks stock. I'm thinking it might be a light roadster or road racer. Here's a few photos, and I'd appreciate any insights or suggested links to dig deeper.

As a UK resident, this is not my speciality. If the chrome plated parts are original that puts it in the 1930s. The wheels do not look like a pair, the rims are different?

It looks as if it had a frontal impact which increased the head angle.
Could be the frame tubes are internally lugged, which was common in US around 1900.

If 1930s the handlebar could belong to it.

if any of the belts or cords are cut then its junk    looks like a curb check gone bad

- кстати (немного не по теме) пару дней назад наткнулась на отличный сайт, который возвращает часть средств от покупок в интернете!
Всем рекомендую
