im doing a minor restoration on a 64 schwinn racer. Looking for salmon colored brake pads. trying to keep bike stock.Maybe someone knows where i can get them. Would be a great help. Thank you in advance.

Any luck, Bill? There's probably plenty of old dried-out ones lying around, but if you want to actually be able to stop that might not do the trick... I'm interested to know if you find repro pads that match the stock ones.

Get Kool Stop "continental" pads. They don't look quite right, but they'll stop the bike.
