My wife and I purchased a tandem bicycle back in the late 80's. It's an RBC. Wondering if anyone has any information regarding the company or bicycle.

Hello, R.B.C. stands for Ret Bar Cycle. They were out of Sun City, AZ. My great grandpa actually started the company back in the sixties but they were only in business until the early 1980's and I was still a kid so I apologize that I can't tell you a whole lot more.

I have a RBC tandem that I'm thinking of selling. Thought I'd do some research on it first, and came accross this discussion. One thing I found out is that these tandems were made for seniors (Sun City was and is a retirement community), and all have low entry points (easy on, easy off).

It's basic, but I like it! :) I've been looking for a chain guard and trying to figure out how the linkage is supposed to work in the back since the wire was already disconnected when I purchased it...... any help would be appreciated... maybe one of you can send me some pics of how it looks on one that's connected.... thx! :)

We have had a RBC Tandem for about 22 years. Great fun, however, we now need the large chain gear and other replacement parts. Any advice on where or how to get these?

I am looking to buy an RBC tandem. I will take frame only if available. Mine was stolen and I'm really bummed. It's the only tandem for me. Email me if you have one available.
Thanks

Hi. I bought a Firestone tandem at a yard sale and was looking for some info including value. The one I bought is a dark teal color with big black seats, appears to be 1940's era and is in very nice shape. Any help would be appreciated. Thank You, Stan
