Hello, About ten years ago, someone gave me an old Columbia Commuter 2 "Take-Apart" bike, made in Holland. I've been very curious to know how old it is, but the bike lacks a serial number that I can use as a reference. Has anyone heard of this model? Is there a reference that can tell me more about how long Columbia imported these bikes? Thanks for any information. Neil by: 137.165.137.109 |

It's taken a while to get the jpgs of this years show at Larz up in albums, but it's finally done for your viewing. Lots of neat cycles, from Lightweights to Antique. There are contributions from six different member photographers. http://www.wooljersey.com/gallery/Larz-Anderson-05 Peter Naiman Glendale, WI by: 69.76.64.66 |
Hi, I'm looking to find out what models Schwinn produced in 1957. Can anyone tell me or tell me where to look? I find them here and there on the web but not a complete list. Any help would be great. Thanks by: 205.188.116.139 |
My info shows 37 mens models and 29 womens models. Some are what you would call the same model only different accessories.Like model F18(Mark 2 Jagular 3speed) and model F18C(Mark 2 Jagular coaster with tank)-- (Fair Trade Prices for Schwinn Bicycles Effective Jan 15 1957)This sheet gives all models---sam(except maybe specal models that might have came out during the year ,or just at X-mas,which would have most likely been bikes with special colors)--sam by: 68.91.252.235 |
I'm looking to put a date and any other info readers may have on a Cleveland Weling Roadmaster....bottom bracket is marked F35684, both hubs are black not chrome-front is a New Departure, back is marked "ECLIPSE MACHINE DIVISION, ELMIRA N.Y. - 04 35". The rims match the frames paint(maroon w/pinstriping). Chain Rubber tires, half rouund bars, skip tooth. The bike looks very original having been in the same basement since the 1940's. Any details welcome! by: 207.244.121.239 |
