the skyway you mention, what type is it??freestyle or race???...is it painted or chrome??....and last but not least-is it for sale?.....also,whats up with the blue mags?.......as for the other bikes you mentioned......okay,now,please understand that this is my opinion, and ----not meant as insulting to you in any way---....the other bikes you listed, are all fairly worthless bikes.....Please,dont get upset!!..i have a few oldscool "cheapies " myself, but just keep them around to ,well, laugh at i suppose......they make me realize/remember just how bad it was back in the old days.......i mean,we all used to throw together a"cheapie" bike at least once a week, and take them off jumps and usually, they didnt make it thru the day......i would bet good money theres Still! about 45 bikes just in this one dam, that we used to water jumps.....all of them cheapies......so,what im saying here is,out of the bikes you listed, the skyways the only good one......and depending on what type it is,it might not even be good.......your best bet is to look around and see what you can pick up cheap, preferrably at least a frame that has v-brake mounts,or 990 mounts ON the frame...then gather up parts from the bikes you listed, and build a rider...you dont Have to get a new bike, especially if you ride hard, because you will just scratch it up anyways.....and most important...if you are dirt jumping-Get a Helmet!!..a Good one,NOT a k-mart one...helmets,decent cheapies can be found almost at every bike shop, price ranges from 50-150 and up..Dont buy a used one....i see way too many kids, and even Pros (!)riding with no helmet..thats not a good influence at all....a lot of kids think its not Cool to wear one....the first time you crash, and dont have one...you Wont care if its cool or not.....because you Will be hurtin for certain........again,Please dont be offended by anything i have said about your bikes, its not personal..........btw,my columbia freestyle is green and white....what colors yours??...the frame on mine resembles a CW....

AGE / VALUE:   just a shame posted by: Jack of Trades on 2/12/2001 at 3:25:13 PM
A couple years ago this was a really cool site. It was very informative and very useful. I used to come here everyday. Now I visit only a couple of times a month. There are far too many clowns that come here under the pretense that they have something to offer in this forum. There is absolutley no need to trash someone just because he may have gotten a fact or two mixed up, or because you don't like his choice of bikes or parts. It is a real shame that a site that once was so helpful has to be ruined by people who cannot participate in a civilized disscusion. Let's make this site what it used to be, and what it was created for. If you have a beef with someone use their email to clear it up. If they do not have email then be a man and let it go so this board does not have to suffer the harmful effects that these trash posts bring to it.

Hey All,
If you are going to trash someone, please have the guts to use your email address. Otherwise, you're gonna get off-line later and begin to ask yourself what kind of person you really are...

Also, keep the profanity down. This is a PG rated site and I hate to waste my people's time scanning for bad language. I'd rather have them building human-powered machinery.

FOR SALE:   RL20a Build kit posted by: Tony on 2/11/2001 at 7:05:04 PM
I just bought an NOS Redline RL20a complete bike. I only want the frame and fork so I'm offering the rest of it for sale. The wheels are peregrine 48's. The rest of the bike is all redline or peregrine parts. The brakes are Dia compe sidepulls, not sure the model. The bike was an 86'. The parts are mint, never mounted to the frame. This was a basic model, not flight cranks or forklifter bars, but good basic stuff. If you want to build an original redline, all you have to add is the frame and fork.

Asking $150 boxed including shipping in the US.
Email if interested.

If any of you guys that only come here to trash talk had ever been to a Freestyle show, you would know that nobody ever trash talks anyone. When you watch competition on the X-Games, do you see those dudes arguing, no you don't because that's not what's it's about. We're all on here to buy, sell, trade, & learn. Now some constructive criticism is cool but a few of you are just downright cocksuckers. You guys need to get away from your computers for awhile cause it's drownin from all the nut your jackin into the hard drive. Get a woman & get laid.

Howdy! Anyone out know anything about 1st gen. Torkers? I'm having a hard time dating a frame that I bought used in late '80. Also info on a mid '80ish G.T. Performer. Black w/the bent downtube, fuzzy yellow and purple on white background stickers, and black G.T. mags. If I hurt any one's feelings by this posting, Get A Helmet! I don't give a **** if your offended. Have a nice day. Go ride. Later
