I want to know if Schwinn ever made an Elf BMX bike. I have a bike with a Schwinn badge on the front w/ a sticker that says Elf BMX. It has solid rubber tires with the name Adam Augusta on the sidewall, with possibly his address.
Can anyone help with anything, w/ the 411 I've given? I love the site for this is my first posting.

Hey Dave, I had an 85 mach 1 all white with white skyway mags and blue parts. That was the best bike I ever owned and I would spend any amount of money to replace it. Let me know what you have found and don't need. Right now I'm restoring a mid-80's robinson that I'm going to use for dirt jumping. E-mail me please

AGE / VALUE:   GT Pro Performer posted by: charles on 4/23/2003 at 2:00:15 AM
I have a GT pro performer that apears to be a 83 model according to the serial number charts i have seen. But i don't remember them making pro performers in 83. Is it even possible?

RE:AGE / VALUE:   GT Pro Performer posted by Tom on 6/8/2003 at 1:51:31 PM
I actually have one I got for Xmas 1983. Its actually (I think....) a 1984 model. It has all its original stuff on it that I had then....White sSkyways, etc. I am presently restoring it for my son. I will post pics somewhere this week if you want to see it.

AGE / VALUE:   Tange BMX posted by: Cheryl Maguregui on 4/21/2003 at 6:46:11 PM
Can someone please help. My son has a BMX bike. This bike is stamped TANGE in several places, and has a serial number. I have discovered that mostly Tange only make, or made, front forks, this bike is completely Tange. I know it was imported into the UK in the 1970's. It is all chrome. Does this make it rare or valuable????? Can you also let me know where I could find out more about it?

RE:AGE / VALUE:   Tange BMX posted by Max on 4/22/2003 at 5:53:01 PM
Hi Cheryl.. Are you in the UK??
Tange actually made frame and fork sets and parts for both themselves and other bike companies, eg Kuwahara and Raleigh. Value wise they aren't that highly valued on their own, but some rarer bikes ie MK1 Raleigh Pro Burner, are quite saught after and in turn quite valuable (to a collector who is looking for one anyway).
Hope this helps Max

AGE / VALUE:   1990 gt aggressor( not mountain bike, welded BASHGUARD version!) posted by: schmeyers on 4/20/2003 at 3:59:48 AM
Does anyone know how this frame is worth and how rare are they? It was built in the USA, it has the welded on bashguard, and is 4130 chrome(VG cond.) I am the original owner and have the original chrome forks as well as everything else except the OE sun rims but they were pathetic and weak. I never see any aggressors(non mtb)on ebay and was wondering if its worth restoration seeing as it was an oddball/early 90s trend ifluenced work of GT art.

I have a 1990 "and 1/2" model, too. But mine is chrome with black forks. It's a bit dinged, but I was wondering what it was worth, too. In any case, I've decided to make it new again with new skool parts and go to the ramp park to freak out the kids. ;-)

I've got an all original and complete 20 in" 80-83 Torker (Campagnolo Euro B/B) and looking to trade for a standard or preferably long 20" or 24" JMC or Patterson from the same era. This bike is not NOS but from original Torker Factory rider and in good condition (no dents in frame). This Torker has a chrome frame, fork and GT bars, gold anodized Torker stem, gold MX 900 brake, gold KKT Lightning pedals, gold Cycle Pro seat clamp, yellow Viscount seat with laid back seat post, Sugino 170 mm alloy cranks, Araya/Shimano wheels...would swap just the frame and fork also.

I also have for trade (5) mid 80's NOS Flite Pad sets (stem, frame and bars) in black and still in original packages. Also (9) mid 80's NOS, UNI with alloy post, Viscount, GT and Dominator saddles. Also (2) mid 80's NOS number plates, Bomber and Dyno still in original packages. E-mail me and I can send some pictures at darrinstout@earthlink.net
