| I am tring to identify a bicycle that I had many years ago.It was a Sears "Spyer" style, 20",3 speed. It was around a 1969 model, boys bike, blue frame with a black&white seat. I'm trying to ID and locate one. If anyone has any idea as to the model of this bike or where I could find one please let me know. I can email a very poor black&white picture of the bike (and me) when it was new. Thanks |

| The serial numbers will probably be either on the left rear dropout (where the rear wheel axle bolts to the frame) or on near the front bottom of the headtube (the part the front fork and handlebar stem go into). It's also possible that there is a small 4 digit number stamped into the headbadge. There are serial number charts on this website for dating the bikes. Value is hard to say. Condition is important. |

| You might want to ask your question under the "Lowrider and Custom bike" topic here, too. There are a lot people who build lowrider trikes. You can buy a single speed trike kit for around $200.
Short of that, do you have access to welding tools? |

| Hi,
I have 2 tandem bikes, one has a heavy frame, coaster brake with a hand operated front brake, the make is UNION and its restorable, second tandem is made by Columbia has lighter frame, 10 speed, hand brake and can be riden if basic repairs are done.
Other bikes we have are, a Huffy 15 speed men's bike with hand brakes. We also have an old Molton 4 speed English bike that can be restored. Another bike we have is a 1980's BMX Mongoose which still can be used if basic repairs are done. Lastly, we have an old Columbia 10 speed bike that has dual handbrakes which needs minor repairs.
We're looking to either sell or get rid of all these bikes. My family and I live in the New York area and I was wondering if you know of anyone who could use any of these bikes?
Thanks for your time...
