Very very large Mongoose Justice Bicycle ??? I cannot find anything anywhere about this bicycle. It has a horizontal large thick spring in front of the handlebars. Any idea of its age and value??? by: 63.127.175.82 |
In looking around the internet I found this is a newer type of bike called a modern cruiser - I will be selling it - I am in northcentral PA if interested by: 63.127.175.82 |

I have a Firestone Pilot bicycle that was left in the garage of a 1920s house that I just bought. I would like to sell it, but have no idea what its worth or what year it may be. I have pictures of it that I can send if anyone is willing to take a look and help me out. Thanks!!! by: 207.68.87.30 |
I'll help if I can. Firestone didn't manufacture the bikes Firestone Stores sold, so you may get a better match looking at a Murray, Roadmaster, etc. There are 3 Firestone Pilots in the Picture Database on this site. Compare yours with those first. (Ignore the egregious banana seat on one of them.) The chainwheel on the 54 looks like a Murray to me. If you don't get a close match, go to http://nostalgic.net/arc/bicycles/ where there are some old Firestones and a newer Roadmaster Pilot. Send me a picture, and post one to the database. by: 209.7.184.147 |
I have been told by a professional restorer that the Pilot was made by Schwinn from 1938 to 1942. I have one that is functional, yet needs work. by: 24.80.162.249 |
Would like to find a new or repo (Schwinn ) decal that goes on the Front of the POST under the seat ,for my 1980 Chicago Typhoon . Thanks by: 24.140.117.161 |
You can check either Memory Lane Classics (www.memorylane-classics.com) or Maple Island Sales(www.mapleislandsales.com); they both stock a variety of Schwinn decals. Good luck! by: 199.179.238.37 |
