I'm looking for some information on this bike (i.e. value). I sell on Ebay and I own a custom motorcycle shop here locally but I know nothing about bicycles. I was called to list a beautiful motorcycle yesterday and the retired gentleman also wanted me to list this bicycle that he bought new. It's hanging in his garage where it's been for many many years. Looks to be all original and unmolested. Any help you could give me would be apprieciated. I'll visit him today and take pictures of the bike. The chain guard clearly reads "Schwinn Mini Twinn". by: 65.13.103.211 |
As a dealer you already know the only way to learn the value is to post the auction and see. But I'm guessing this bike, if the paint is good, will get plenty of interest. If you want to try to determine how rare or how desireable it is without selling, there are people at www.bluemoonbikes.com who could help. Some great pictures there too, but I didn't see a Mini Twinn. As a service to this group, please post pictures of the bike to the Picture Database here on Oldroads. by: 209.7.184.147 |

myfirst bike was a tank with fenders solid rubber tires a steel seat, no break and direct drive. Still have a scar under my chin to prove trying to put resistance on the hub at 5 years old doesn't work. any way I have been trying to get some info on old really old kids bikes. I don't see how this thing will ever stop working. I think it will be around for the next hundred years. if you know of any on line resources that would be great. by: 207.108.209.42 |
