FOR SALE:   1957 Rollfast Bicycle posted by: Brent on 11/27/2006 at 8:51:54 PM
I bought this bike from the original owner a few years ago. I'd like to sell the bike, but would like to establish the fair market value before doing this. There is surface rust on the fenders and handle bars, but the rest of the bike is in great shape. The bike is all original, with the exception of the tires and one of the pedals. Pictures are available upon request.

I need to replace the rear dropouts on my early 70's motobecane grand touring bicycle. Can anyone tell me where I might find these and some tips on how to replace them?
Or maybe there is a substitute part that would work? please contact me at

FOR SALE:   The Raleigh Nottingham, England Bike posted by: Don on 11/27/2006 at 4:01:28 PM
Hi, i'm just hoping to get some insight on a bike that
I purchased at an estate sale,(The Raleigh Nottingham, England 3 speed Bike)before I list it on ebay.
On the hub it says - England, then Sturmey Archer and it has the numbers, 71 11 (I'm assumeing that means Nov. 1971)
The gears are Sturmey Archer and the brakes are Shimano.
It has a leather bag behind a seat with 3 small air holes (original)
The entire bike appears to original as nothing looks like it has ever been changed.
It is dirty, has very little/minor dent in fender and more than anything it could use a good cleaning.
Any help you could offer would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance,

Brakes are probably replacements, dont think Raleigh would use Japanese brakes.

I said the brakes are Shimano,
but Actually only the rear brake is,
as it has been replaced. The front brake
is original and it has the red Raliegh
emblem on it!
