I need a 26" 1960's Schwinn Tractor Tire for my 1962 Heavy Duty American or if you know somebody with any. Thanks, Skip by: 67.181.84.240 |
When I was a child, I had this bike and I can't find. It was gold. It had a wide back tire with white lettering. It had a big bananna seat. It also had this unique chain guard, tall on one end. Do you have a pic, or model? by: 12.10.219.37 |
There's a Hiawatha / Gambles Drag Duster in the Picture Database that I think is similar to the Aero Bee by: 205.179.119.99 |
I think there is one at www.nemusclebikes.com by: 64.12.116.6 |
Hello, Bike was made by AMF for a certain retial store line, maybe western auto APX 1973. I'm very sorry to tell you this but I JUST sold one to a neighbor kid a few weeks ago, in the original gold paint even. If you want, I can take a pic. I'll also see if he'll trade/sell it back to me, depending on what you want to spend. Let me know. by: 68.189.230.28 |
P.S. There IS one at musclebikes.com. It's in a brown paint. You can call me about it anytime. Chris 308-539-1784 by: 68.189.230.28 |

I have an old Berardi frame. Has anyone ever heard of this frame? (It has cable guides brazed onto the top of the top tube. And it has brazed on shifter mounts on the diagonal down-tube from the headset). I am very interested to know any information in regard to this frame and if I can acquire frame stickers. by: 209.157.148.112 |
I believe Berardi was an Italian make or import of some sort. I came across one recently (but didn't buy it - asking too much for it) - seemed nice, Columbus tubing with chrome stays and forks.... by: 24.69.0.179 |
TO ANYONE WITH INFO:: I HAVE "goodyear double eagle" FEMALE BIKE TIRE FT 26X1.75 AND THE REAR IS THE SAME. IT IS IN FAIR TO ROUGH CONDITION. I HAVE NOT CLEANED IT UP YET I DO NOT WANT TO DO SOMETHING WRONG WITH IT. I RECEIVED IT FROM MY AUNT WHO IS REALLY OLD. I THINK IT IS THE ORIGINAL PAINT AND IT AND THE RIMS ARE RUSTY. IT HAS BENDIX ON THE BACK AXLE (IF THAT MEANS ANYTHING). IT HAS A SEAT THAT I THINK IS ORIGINAL (IT LOOKS LIKE A BUTTON ON SEAT) AND IT HAS TWO SPIRING TYPE SHOCKS ON THE FRONT OF THE BIKE. ONE IS IT WORTH ANYTHING? TWO SHOULD I WORK ON IT AND THREE WHAT IF ANYTHING IS IT WORTH. I THINK THE SERIAL NUMBER IS F54442 OR F5H442 THE STAMP IS HARD TO READ. THANKS IN ADVANCED MIKE PS (SORRY FOR TYPING IN CAPS) by: 205.208.227.30 |
The two-spring shock makes it a little interesting. Determine its age before you do anything that can't be undone. Search the picture database here, or there's a huge collection of photos on Nostalgic.net- find one that looks like it. Post a picture of yours here or on the database. by: 209.7.150.163 |
