FOR SALE:   Superbe by The Raleigh posted by: Jim on 1/18/2007 at 2:34:08 PM
I have a 1968 Raleigh Superbe. All original I believe, no headlight or tailight. No saddlebag... everything else is there and in good shape. Good paint and all emblems/logos in place. Original green paint in good shape as well. Tires still hold air, but I wouldn't ride with them.

We were interested in your Raleigh and wondered if you could send us pics and let us know where you are at? We're stuck in Stockton, California, and looking for a Raleigh Dl-1, Superbe, or other 3 to 5 speed Roadster. How much were you hoping to get for it. thanks

FOR SALE:   Bikes for sale posted by: Bruce James on 1/18/2007 at 10:16:46 AM
I have a couple of bikes for sale:

1) Columbia Three Star Deluxe - Based on photos of other similar bicycles I've seen, it looks like it's from the early 50s, but the serial number (R559749) puts it at 1969, so I'm not sure. The paint is mostly original, but some parts look like they might have been repainted over the original designs.

2) Blue Schwinn Continental - 1973 Serial Number - JJ568264 This bike is in good shape mechanically but has some rusty paint chips here and there. New handlebar tape and back tire and tube. Comes with a spare tire and tube.

I'm in Philadelphia, where bikes could be picked up, or I would ship them for the cost of shipping plus $20 if the sale price is high enough to justify it.

Make an offer.

I am just looking for a website or dealer in the Las Vegas area of high wheel bikes. I am not looking for anything real, just something cheap to ride around on. They look like a lot of fun and I would enjoy owning one. Thanks for any help.
