I apologize in advance for jumping in on a for sale section even though I dont post.I have a 1964 Triumph that I wanted to keep and ride unfortunately I am 6 foot 4 and cannot get comfortable. I love this bike alot and want it to go to a good home to be restored. I live in Arlington Va if anyone is interested the bike is in good working order some dings in the paint and some of the fenders could use a straightening. Thank you for looking.

FOR SALE:   1962 Phillips Ranger posted by: Ernest on 1/4/2007 at 12:02:46 PM
We're looking to sell this Made in England bicycle, which evidently spent decades in the attic of my wife's father. As I clean it up, what I thought was rust usually turns out to be just years of dust and grime. The stamping on the Sturmey-Archer hub (still shiny chrome once I clean it!) shows "62" and "7", which I take to mean a 1962 model. It has Sturmey-Archer 3-speed gears, with "John Bull" on the caliper brake pads. "57230 N PH" is stamped on the frame beneath the not-original seat and "L 553 0004" is engraved on the bottom. Kickstand is an after-market one. Tires will need replacing (26x1 3/8 front and back), but the rims and spokes seem sound. Paint is original and is overall good, but has some dings on back fender. Original English decals are a little faded and the metal front plate shows Phillips, Chicago IL, which I guess shows the importer. "Made in England" is stamped all over it. We're probably going to list this on eBay, but help, guidance, advice and interest are appreciated.

Sheldon doesn't get excited about it:
Probably not a hot item, but condition and the clarity of your listing will make a difference. The thing is, these make great transportation in town. Do you feel like riding it?
