I just saw this on the emglish roadster discussion site along with a nomination for Mark Stonich to bicycle sainthood for another creation and after banging out these things last weekend I would second it for this one. I don't have one yet but I will! see his crank cotter press at

FOR SALE:   Cannondale 24"/26" posted by: kemmer on 3/8/2007 at 10:41:09 AM
I have a pink Cannondale 24/26 missing the wheels and front brake. The paint is in pretty rough shape, but no dents or other damage. It takes a U-brake on the front, the rear is a Deore II U-brake. I have a front wheel from a 26/26 Cannondale from the same era that could be included. I would also be interested in a period correct 24" wheel and a U brake of some kind. I really don't know what to ask for one in this condition, so I'm open to offers.

FOR SALE:   195? Shelby Flyer(?) posted by: Nathan Davis on 3/7/2007 at 12:40:55 PM
Hi Im looking to sell my vintage bicycle. I am not super knowledgable so tips from collectors NOT looking to buy are specially welcome. Its a mid 50's(I beleive 55 cant remember) Shelby. Its got most of the bells and whistles. Both fenders, front and back lights(dont work, dont know if its structural or electrical, seller claimed it was just electrical, never checked)press horn and lever bell, original(I think)seat springs, old school reflectors on both fenders and pedals with extra reflectors off the edge of pedals.the front springy thing on front of handlebars(never knew what those were called).Im no expert for sure but the seller told me this stuf was all vintaage except the seat and from my limited knowledge this seems correct. The tires look a little modern in the tread. Paint job has a few nicks here and there but nothing major.Bottom tips of fenders and a few spots on fuselage. . As stated ,Im no expert( I mostly bought it due to the resemblance to Pee-Wee Herman's bike in Pee Wee's Big Adventure!!) but from my research Ive been able to reckon that I should be able to get a grand for this thing at least. The chart on here only goes up to 51. Thats my askin price but Im flexible....Unless one of the kind souls who collect bikes and frequent this site who ARENT interested in buying, let me know its worth a lot more HAHAHA! If you are in the Detroit area and want a look see, feel free, just mail me and We will work it out. Also anyone who can tell me where on this thing is the serial number, that would be super. If you need it shipped, thats out of your pocket as well as the disassembly and packing at a bike shop. This add a picture feature on this site is worthless to me. TYPE IN ADDRESS???? WHAT? My pics are on a file on my drive I have no idea how to do that. If you want pics email me sonofvoltaire@yahoo.com I will forward them immediatly! My name is Nate.
