MISC:   Help me identify this thing? posted by: Mike on 6/9/2007 at 11:28:55 AM
Just picked up this frame, seems well made light, and came with some great, great parts for the price. problem is I have no idea what make/model it is...which I suppose isnt that big of a problem, but I need to know...I'm sure someone out there understands my pain. Its cut vitus dropouts, and the only decal on it is the "vitus 181 double butted serie legere" one. its got nicely cut lugs and a nice rear brake bridge, not the original fork, I'm sure. the only stamped numbers I can find on it are on the top side of the downtube, down between the bottle cage mounts and the bottom bracket, and the are V. 181 (same as tubeset?) I made up a photo album on myspace of photos of it. If anyone can tell me anything, that'd be the best. Thnaks alot

Heres that url

thanks for any help,
