My sister had a huge blue bike in the early 60's that had "Saturn" written on it and Saturn, the planet, painted on it. I would like to locate a bike like this in riding condition. Any ideas? by: 216.54.20.194 |
Jo Ann, The bike your sister had was a middleweight (26 x 1.75 tires) made by AMF/Roadmaster. Your best place to look is Ebay, as they show up occasionally. Most of the people who list them don't know what they have, or the chainguard is illegible so they list the bike as "old girls bike" or similar phrasing. A bike like that, complete and in riding condition, usually doesn't sell for more than $75 or so, with the shipping on top of that. Good luck in your search! by: 74.249.209.196 |
