I thought the repops were single speed bikes. The parts for a five-speed stik-shift, by themselves, are worth $125.

I have a Schwinn 5-speed "Breeze" model vin# FM575991. The frame is blue with silver fenders. I have no idea what year this bicycle is nor do I know its value, if any, it holds.

Any ideas?

It's a 1976. It's not rare. But it's a nice rider, and a Chicago Schwinn after all- what it needs is a good home with someone who needs a townie.

If the breeze 5 speed is in mint condition,150.oo would be my guess.

I covet the bell.
Is that a skiptooth crank? New Departure coaster? What does it say on the downtube? Any evidence of a headbadge, like rivet holes?

It would be easier to tell the brand if you shot the photo from the other side. That would give a view of the chain guard and sprocket.

I would buy the seat which appears from this angle to be for male cruiser type bike.
