A small shipment of the world-famous Tianjin Flying Pigeon bikes has just left the factory and is on its way to the port at Tianjin, for shipment to Austin, Texas.

I'm not collecting money now, but will email anybody and everybody who wants one when they come in. They will be $250.00 each, picked up by customer when they arrive. Delivered price, anywhere in Continental United States, is $325.00.

PayPal accepted, for those who wish to pay online, or put down a deposit. For more information, please see: http://guanxi-trading.com/bikes.aspx

I've attached three pictures - one of the bike in all its glory, one of the bike prepped for shipping, and one of four of my bikes, in their cartons, prior to their being moved to port for shipment.

ETA in Austin, Texas, is late July.

Drop me a line if you're interested.

WANTED:   Tyre for Dawes Kingpin 1970's posted by: Angela Bain on 6/26/2008 at 1:10:14 PM
I need a tyre for an old Dawes Kingpin bike - "Suertube " is written on bike frame. I think it's a 70's bike. "37-440 (500X37)"is written on the cracking tyre. My local bike shop has told me that these are no longer made. Can you help?

This appears to be a 500A.
I looked it up on Harris Cyclery; this what they say:
"French juvenile and folding bikes.
We used to be able to get a few tires in this size, but I'm afraid our source has dried up, and we have no more left.
We have no alternate sources, sorry we can't help you if you need this size.
Please do not write to us about this, we really can't do anything for you."
Know anybody in France?
Alternatively, you may be able to go to 20x1 1/8 wheels, which would be less than half an inch dia. larger - Harris has this size, so I expect your LBS could get some or build some for you.
