Where in the Bianchi line up is the Sport SS, circa 1980. It has decals which read "Piaggio" and "Bianchi AR Tubi Reinforzati" by: 151.199.35.75 |
"Renforzati" is a good sign, as it is equivalent to "double-butted." I suspect you have a mid-grade mixed tubeset frame, with a double-butted Columbus CrMo main triangle and either carbon steel or seamed CrMo forks and stays, making it pretty comparable to my Campione d' Italia. by: 66.185.168.82 |
I have recently have gotten an older bicycle. It says Ross Europa I on the frame, but no serial numbers or anything. Can anyone help me with a date and price range for this bike? by: 72.82.201.139 |
I'm selling the above bike on eBay.If you are interested check it out. It ends on the 1 April 2007. Thx. Phil |
I am thinking of purchasing a Bridgestone 700 model 12 speed. Anything I should know about this particular bike, I don't know the year or anything. I would have to drive to check it out and want to get info to help me decide to pursue it or not. thanks by: 76.183.248.190 |
I have a ALL original Bottecchia De Luxe, Campione Del Mondo 1966. It also says on the bike Campione Italiano 1964-63-66-67. I believe the bike was made in 1966. This bike is in great condition. Leave a post if interested with a bid. I will check back tomorrow by: 65.112.121.29 |
That would be an auction? Try ebay. Include pics and a description. That would be appropriate because Bottechia made lots of "ALL original" bad bikes with a few good ones. Or there's a general for sale category here on oldroads. That might work too. Or you could offer it up with a firm price and pictures to back it up. The discussion list would become chaos if everyone posted items for bids...capice? by: 71.7.150.172 |
True. What do you think this bike is valued at? and what do you think a good price for it would be? by: 65.112.121.29 |
Without all of above details and pics, you can't evaluate it. That's what the auction format provides...info. It can be $75 or $750. by: 24.224.141.224 |
