I have a sky blue 1971 Schwinn Super Sport that appears to be nearly all original. It has original seat, paint, decals and generator lights. I think it is a men's frame. Does anybody have any idea of the value of this bike? Its in pretty good condition, but has a little rust and light scratching on it. by: 98.208.10.190 |
I haven't really researched prices on these recently (I have a green one) - but I'm thinking at least $200. by: 205.188.116.198 |
That's optimistic unless you can find a collector who just HAS TO HAVE this bike. by: 216.15.114.27 |
Keep in mind this was second from top of the line second only to the famed Paramount...Not a bad bike actually, only the crankset was junk. Came with a Brooks B-17 seat too. by: 24.13.53.50 |

Hello, I have a 1920's Iver Johnson Track bicycle that I'm looking for reference material for. I am new to this hobby and trying to restore this to as original as I can. I am looking for any/all informational sources + photos. Also looking for a correct saddle, seatpost, crankset, stem, and hubs (or wheels). Also, I want to find out what sorts of grips/bar tape would have been this racer. Thanks! by: 24.199.65.148 |
any info please email me at: ascher@juno.com by: 24.199.65.148 |
