| Just got a Girls Road Runner. chaingaurd same as my Dragstripper chaingaurd. has a cool S bend in the seat bar, puts the back rest behind the seat. Front forks resemble a dirt bike, twin tubes from axles to top. seperate L+R handlebars. bars, and entire front end straight. nice clean white rims. the bike needs some rechroming, seat cover there for pattern, but poor. I am sure this is the girls model of the Dragstripper, would make an excellent source of hard to get parts. in case i am wrong on the make, and someone wants a cool project, the front fork bushings are unique to it. If you have a boys frame with a 5 1/2 in neck, or want a cool girls bike that the neighbors dont have, here it is. pics available |

| MY SON WAS JUST GIVEN A BRIGHT YELLOW STINGRAY STARTING I.D.#JAK (FROM THE FORK TUBE)THIS BIKE IS IN BRAND NEW CONDITION,IT STILL HAS CARDBOARD PROTECTORS ON THE FORKS. IS THIS A REPRODUCTION,FAKE,OR NEW BIKE? SHOULD MY KID EVEN RIDE THIS THING? |

| Without researching, I think it's a 1998 Schwinn Reproduction. The K means Korea? If so, it's a good bike to ride and to keep nice. I got a Korean repro Apple Krate to do some neighborhood riding, and I love it. But I heard Schwin got bought by Huffy the other day. End of the Schwinn reproductions? Maybe that will increase its value? Set it up carefully and enjoy. I think even Dad would fit comfortably with the seat all the way up. I'm no expert, but that's my two cents worth.

FOR SALE: CCM Mustang 3spd Project
posted by: Tom
on 8/4/2001 at 10:04:11 PM
| I have a CCM Mustang 3 spd project bike, frame, seat, rear fender, chain guard, rear Sturmey Archer 3spd wheel "71", crank and pedals. The bike is gold, mint rear fender and chainguard. The sissy bar is pitted and has some rust, seat is poor. The frame is good no dents, some scratches and a little surface rust. NO shifter, front wheel, front fender, handle bar, or brakes. I would prefer to sell whole but will part out if not sold whole. |
