I have a bicycle possibly a late 60's schwinn, It reads Vista Coronet on the chain guard. I am in the process of customizing this bike and want to disassemble the entire machine but can not find the pin in which holds the built in kickstand in after you compress the spring. There is not even a hole drilled in the bottom bracket for a pin to come out. WHat is going on? IF you could email me at newport1990@dejazzd.com with any help it would be greatly appriciated. Thank you. by: 208.101.137.228 |

Okay this time I am calling you a Scammer.... You have posted a different name Jeremy instead of Sean with vanfunandmore@yahoo.com e-mail address. Are you going to tell me you had a fatal error with the name Sean? by: 24.162.243.197 |
Naes don't try hijacking my thread. by: 24.162.243.197 |
Call me anything you want you obviously are so wound up with bitternees and judgement that anything I say and explain to let you know the what and why won't matter. Go ahead and call me names. I guarantee you that life is too short for to be consumed by the judging and hatred that have consumed you. by: 209.103.213.254 |
I am sorry to all who are offended by my needing to create a new email address. having said that i am also sorry i ever got into the hobby. By the sound of it apparently so is everyone else. I will be getting out of the hobby now as it hurts too much to be involved in it anymore with remarks such as I have received and been accused of. Recently this past Friday a very dear close and personnel friend of mine and of my parents was senselessly killed on his way home from work by a inattentive driver. I am no longer able to function and can not comprehend all that has and is happening to me just in this year alone. Life is too short. It is also far too short to accuse people and make judgements and accusations of them and who they MUST be. This hobby has turned into something dirty with people putting too much on themselves and what they have and you can't have. I used to love fixing restoring and riding my old bikes but I can no longer do so without people accusing me of deception and unscrupulousness. I shall sell off what I have then i will start a new hobby. One that will lead me to a better and closer relationship with THE only thing that will matter at all in the end...GOD. Goodbye. by: 209.103.213.254 |

Sean/Jeremy or whoever this screwball is seems to have surfaced on the Schwinn forum as 70sRstayinalive looking to buy bikes. Gotta love a guy who is a man of his word.... "I shall sell off what I have then i will start a new hobby." |
I am looking for the following bikes and parts for these bikes: Murray Eliminators(swoopy frame style), Murray Firecats, Kingkats and other Murray choppers, Iverson Dragstrippers, and possibly other stuff like Huffy and off brand banana bikes. I also would like parts and any pieces for a Huffy Red Baron Bike. I need alot as I have only a chainguard (not nice, good only for reference, too mangled) and the plastic german cross that attaches to either the handlebars or the rear seat support. I will need at least a correct boys frame and good chainguard, a picture of a complete one would be great. by: 209.103.213.254 |

Hi Tony, Did you find out any details on your old Dragster. I had one too, about 1975 -76. I might have an old photo somewhere. Keep me in the loop. russ@codian.com by: 81.144.136.171 |
